Ignighter Landing Page
Ignighter is an international website and it works with multiple affiliates for different marketing campaigns. Naturally, it does a lot of landing page optimization and testing. We wanted to come up with a landing page alternative that provides a microsite experience, like Netflix does. The purpose of this specific landing page was to provide more information about Ignighter. The users would be introduced to the concept of group dating, and learn about the features of the website by browsing the different pages accessible through the navigation system.
My involvement in this project began when I received the wireframes. Studying the wireframes and discussing the design concepts with my team members enabled me to affect the design at an earlier stage. After finalizing the wireframes, I worked with a graphics designer to produce the visual design, which was delivered as a Photoshop file. I used Ignighter's framework for its landing pages, so the project did not involve a lot of back-end programming. As for the front-end, I had to make some changes to the existing framework to accommodate the new design elements. I sliced the Photoshop design to create the images and graphics needed for the website. Next, I worked on my favorite part of the process, bringing the site to life by building the actual HTML/CSS.
After I was done with the implementation, I did extensive testing on all major browsers to ensure cross-browser compatibility.
